in last version of fortran le libgfortran is version 5 not 4 this issue the raison,
But which freefem++ version did you use,
To solve this issue compile freefem++

I faced issues with newer Emacs releases on Ubuntu 22 and 24 LTS. Therefore this new parser is generated.
