Load error: bem

Hi,

I’m very new to the freefem++ program, and I met some problems when trying to use it on a macOS.

To be specific, I can not load “bem” correctly and the following error occurs:

Load: lg_fem lg_mesh lg_mesh3 eigenvalue
1 : load “bem”
Load error: bem

dlerror : dlopen(/usr/local/ff++/mpich3/lib/ff++/4.7-1/lib/bem.dylib, 2): image not found
list prefix: ‘./’ ‘/usr/local/ff++/mpich3/lib/ff++/4.7-1/lib/’ list suffix: ‘’ , ‘.dylib’
current line = 1
Load error : bem

I do not know how to deal with this and I’m looking forward to your help.

Hi,

I would also like to know if this problem has been resolved on macOS (I have the exact same error message). As of the recent FreeFem++ update I can’t even access ff++ with the >> open contents (FreeFEM++) → Contents → ?. Thank you for yourk kind support.
