How can I judge whether a point(x,y,z) in a given mesh?

I have a mesh Th and I have a set of points(x,y,z) in the same space, but may not inside Th, How can I judge whether a point is in the mesh Th? Is there a function that receive a point and a mesh then return the judgement? Thanks a lot in advance!!!
