# Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS installation issue

I am getting the following comments:

FreeFem++: error while loading shared libraries: libgfortran.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

in last version of fortran le libgfortran is version 5 not 4 this issue the raison,

But which freefem++ version did you use,

To solve this issue compile freefem++

I faced issues with newer Emacs releases on Ubuntu 22 and 24 LTS. Therefore this new parser is generated.

@frederichecht Please check suitability and if you want to archive this on freefem Github repo, please feel free to host.
