# Max() in parallel

Is there an easy method to compute the maximum of `u[]` in parallel code?

`fespace Vh(Th, P2);`  
`Vh u;`

Yes using `mpiMAX`, cf. [Parallelization](https://doc.freefem.org/documentation/parallelization.html#mpi-constants).
