# Installation problem Silicon mac

Hi,

I’m having troubles installing FreeFem for my M1 mac with macOS 14.

I’m simply installing the binary package from [Download](https://doc.freefem.org/introduction/download.html#download), and go trough the installation process. The app is created in my Applications folder, but when I click it I only get an error message saying “FreeFem is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.”

What’s wrong?
