# Error during configure for v4.5 on Fedora

I encountered this error during my running ./configure on Fedora:  
./configure: line 19741: syntax error near unexpected token `<<<' ./configure: line 19741: `\<\<\<\<\<\<\< Local Changes’  
What can I do now?

It looks like you modified your self either `./configure` or `./configure.ac`. Are you using the GitHub repo or a specific release version? In either case, I’d recommend you start the compilation from scratch, cf. the [README.md](https://github.com/FreeFem/FreeFem-sources/blob/develop/README.md#FreeFEM).
