Hi,

I am trying to use “Optiflow” implementation (https://github.com/flomnes/optiflow), for CFD optimization. During optimization the walls are moving but they would sometimes cross each other.
-> Do you know how compute nodes or edges distances ? and/or to avoid crossing (see pictures below)

I think your best bet would be to switch from adaptmesh to a more robust mesh adaptation library, like mmg2d. It is not interfaced in a plugin, but you can call it via exec.

Hi,

Are there some examples about how to use mmg2d with FreeFem solutions? All I found is the following tutorial: http://annabellecollin.perso.math.cnrs.fr/TPS/TP_0.pdf

Best,

Lucas

I don’t know how any. In 2D, you could simply use adaptmesh, but maybe it’s not working alright for you?

Well I can’t say that adaptmesh is not working but I am not fully happy with the solution I get. So I wanted to try mmg2d to see if somehow it would improve the results.
