# Calculate Thickness in MeshS

Dear FreeFEM Users!

I am trying to model the crack propagation in a 3D mesh surface, but I am still confused about how to find the thickness of the mesh.

Can this be calculated?

Is there any mathematical reference to make a MeshS?
